  Quilt Raffle 2008

Tammy Lentz won the beautiful quilt raffled at the Selinsgrove Street Fair on September 27^th.  Congratulations, Tammy, and enjoy the quilt! 

The 2008 quilt raffle earned more than $1500 for the library and we have applied to Thrivent for a percentage of matching funds.  Thanks to all who supported the quilt raffle by buying tickets or helping sell tickets – your help is very much appreciated!

This beautiful Half Log Cabin Star pattern quilt was made by Nora Martin’s quilt shop in Mifflinburg.  The queen size (96” x 112”) quilt also fits a king size bed with a dust ruffle, as shown in the top picture.  Notice the pretty scalloped edge.  The bottom picture shows a close up of the lovely flowered material in the pattern.
