2010 Fall Book Sale Final Report

Our Fall Book Sale pleasantly surprised us, bringing in $1,616. We had not expected to have two book sales during 2010, but generous donations of books were streaming into our storage room. Many of our customers opted to fill a grocery-size bag for $8.00; we were astonished at how many items can be stuffed into one bag!

Special thanks to Mary Schmoyer, who spent so many hours sorting books and to Janis Gemberling who did a great job of coordinating the book sale. As always, we are deeply grateful to the many wonderful volunteers who helped "book sit" and assisted with setup and takedown.
