2006 Spring Book Sale & Raffle

Lots of books were sold during our 2006 Spring Book Sale & Raffle!

The 2006 Spring book sale and raffle was a great event.  We sold many, many books at bargain prices and we raffled six terrific prizes.  For the first time, we offered merchandise (Friends tote bags (great for carrying home books) and lapel pins designed around a literacy theme.  The event raised more than $1,350, a significant increase over 2005.

Special thanks to Donald Housley, Eva Hurliman, Margaret Siro and Jeff Shaara for their generous donations of beautiful raffle gifts.  Many thanks also to the wonderful volunteers who helped "book sit" and assisted with setup and takedown and to Janis Gemberling who did a great job of coordinating this event.
