Our 2010 crock celebrates Selinsgrove Speedway's 65th anniversary of the inception of the track. The crock size is an all-time favorite, a sturdy, low, one-gallon glazed stoneware beauty. The design features the artwork of Rod Ries, an artist well recognized for his work on our previous crocks. The design on this speedway crock depicts the track, grandstand and fair grounds. A highlight of the crock is a collage on the track of the different types of race cars seen over the years. This collage is a testament to the changing times in racing and to the Selinsgrove Speedway, "the fastest half mile on the east coast". Visit the Speedway's website for more historical information: www.selinsgrovespeedway.com. The crocks are numbered and will be accompanied by a brief history of the Speedway. The cost is only $40. Crocks are expected to be available in September. Pickup dates will be announced. Order forms have been mailed to previous crock purchasers and are also available at the library. Contact: Joyce
