Tree Fest of Children's Books
2009
Sixth Annual Tree Fest
Tree Fest is
coming up fast! And in fact, it's earlier than usual this
year, as we've arranged our schedule to be open on Late Shoppers
Night. We were missed last year!
Friends is once again sponsoring this much-loved community event
which promotes childhood literacy. From 12/1 (Late
Shoppers Night) through 12/18 we welcome visitors to the Social
Hall at All Saints Episcopal Church, which will be filled to
overflowing with beautifully decorated trees and wreaths.
Each tree or wreath is decorated to the theme of a children's
book selected by the decorator. The creativity and beauty
is awesome! The 30 decorators participating provide a wide
representation of the community.
We're inviting everyone to our Tree Fest Opening Reception
on Tuesday, 12/1 at 7 p.m. Come enjoy some terrific food
and browse the wonderful trees! We'll be open until 11
p.m. for Late Shoppers Night. Be sure to join us at:
All Saints Church, 129 N. Market St., Selinsgrove. Parking
on the street and in the back lot.
